A GeoSIL® Constant Dosing System will control biological fouling and prevent both corrosion and human infection.
The GeoSIL® Constant Dosing System is a powerful water disinfection unit for domestic water distribution in buildings of all sizes, with water consumption of up to 615,00m³ per annum.
Advantages of using the GeoSIL® Constant Dosing System in your building:
- Full compliance with Health & Safety regulations including Legionella control
- Avoidance of scalding temperatures. Hot water may be distributed at 48 C - 50 C due to the Legionella control provided by the GeoSIL® Constant Dosing System.
- No more tank cleaning required. Tank cleaning is both expensive and ineffective, since re-infection can occur immediately.
- Removes the need to dismantle and clean showerheads
Finally, the cost of installing a GeoSIL® Constant Dosing System is paid for out of energy savings and the elimination of tank & showerhead cleanings
The GeoSIL® Constant Dosing System
The
GeoSIL® Constant Dosing System has a robust fail-safe design that ensures
many years minimum maintenance service. The system consists of a single enclosure
containing a state of the art electrical motor-driven metering pump, connected
to a turbine or ultrasonic water meter, and a 100/200 litre tank containing
GeoSIL® . GeoSIL® is then pumped from the tank to the incoming cold
water via double walled delivery tubing.
Whilst a monitor can be installed to measure GeoSIL® levels within the system, this is not generally required unless the use of a water meter is not possible. Measuring strips can provide quick and reliable information on GeoSIL® levels in the treated water, or for more accurate results a Spectrophotometer can be used.
Installation of the GeoSIL® Constant Dosing System
The Dosing System is generally fitted to either the incoming Cold Water Mains supply to the cold water storage tanks, or to the cold water storage tanks themselves. In both cases the amount of GeoSIL® dosed into the system is controlled by a water meter; either turbine or ultrasonic.
Service Contract
A full service contract is available throughout the UK and Northern Ireland, which optionally includes chemical replenishment, water health checks and equipment maintenance.
