Controlling the myriad of bacteria and viruses that can proliferate in a nutrient rich environment such

as a maltings, and maximising the recirculation of water, presents a major challenge, but GeoSIL® can help you meet that challenge.

Tests carried out at a large maltings company in England indicate that it is possible to recirculate up to 75% of steep and rinse water, whilst maintaining production quality – but with huge savings in water costs. It is assumed that you are already treating your effluent stream prior to discharge, however if you are not we can advise on the benefits of doing so.

GeoSIL® is a powerful broad spectrum biocide which will destroy biofilm and bacteria as effectively as Chlorine Dioxide, but is lower cost, but will leave no taste or taint on the malt - and is completely environmentally harmless.
